Regents Scholarship Program

The Regents Scholarship Program covers a portion of tuition costs for eligible employees enrolled in the University credit-bearing courses. 

  • 100% of the tuition cost for eligible employees matriculated for the first time in a baccalaureate degree program.
  • 75% of the tuition cost for all other eligible employees enrolled in courses covered under the Regents Scholarship program.

Procedure

Eligible University of Minnesota employees enrolled on the Duluth campus:

  1. Fill out the Application for Regents' Scholarship Form and acquire all the necessary departmental signatures.
  2. Submit the completed form for verification of eligibility to UMD Department of Human Resources, 255 Darland Administration Building, 1049 University Drive, Duluth, MN 55812 or fax, 218-726-7505.
  3. UMD Department of Human Resources will forward the approved form to the One Stop Student Services, 23 Solon Campus Center, 1117 University Drive, Duluth, MN 55812.

Eligible University of Minnesota Duluth employees enrolled in Crookston, Morris, Rochester or Twin Cities campus

  1. Fill out the Application for Regents' Scholarship Form and acquire all the necessary departmental signatures.
  2. Submit the completed form for verification of eligibility to UMD HR, 255 Darland Administration Building, 1049 University Drive, Duluth, MN 55812 or fax, 218-726-7505.
  3. UMD Department of Human Resources will forward the approved form to the appropriate coordinating campus. Make sure that you check the campus you are enrolled at on the Application for Regents Scholarship Form. The Regents Scholarship form will be forwarded to the appropriate campus:
  • One Stop Student Services Center, 222 Pleasant Street SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455.
  • University of Minnesota Crookston, 170 Owen Hall, 2900 University Ave, Crookston, MN 56716.
  • University of Minnesota Morris, Business Office, 205 Behmler Hall, 600 E 4th Street, Morris MN 56267-2132.
  • University of Minnesota Rochester, Student Services One-Stop, 300 University Square, 111 South Broadway, Rochester, MN 55904
